Background

Saint Duje Cathedral in SplitPQView® is a Microsoft Windows desktop application for building databases of electric power measurements. PQView has evolved into a comprehensive database system for centralizing data from many different types of metering systems including power quality monitors, digital fault recorders, electronic relays, and SCADA systems. PQWeb® is a Microsoft Windows server application that enables web browsers to query measurements stored in a PQView database via a corporate intranet or the Internet. This user group meeting includes both formal presentations and hands-on computer workshop lessons that focus on the past, present, and future developments of both PQView and PQWeb. 

Agenda

PQView User Group Meeting and Workshop

This meeting and workshop will feature a mix of hands-on training, formal presentations, and informal discussion related to current and future versions of PQView and PQWeb. It will include hands-on computer training workshop focusing on new functionality. It will also feature basic and advanced topics in both PQView’s desktop and web applications. Specific topics that will be included will be PQView integration with Dranetz InfoNode/DataNode systems, Dran-View, Qualitrol QIS databases, and Unipower PQ Secure databases, CESINEL, PSL PQube, and more. Other topics will include weekly and multi-week compliance reporting to limits required by EN 50160 and other Euopean standards such as NVE 1157, integration of PQView with SCADA systems, and fault location using PQView in distribution and transmission systems.

The language used for training and presentations for the PQView user group and workshop will be English.

The meeting and workshop will include 1.5 days of formal training and presentations and a half day of informal questions.

Meeting Location and Recommended Lodging

The user group meeting will be held at the Hotel Park in Split.  The hotel is near famous Bačvice Beach.  It is a ten-minute walk to the centre and a five-minute walk to the ferry, bus, and railway terminals.
